Valentine's Ideas #7

Well this about wraps up my series of ideas for making Valentine's Day more fun for you and your family!  Unless of course I get an urge to make one more thing... which seems inevitable these days (especially with all YOUR great ideas tempting me)!  Hope I've shared some fun and unique ideas with you guys as well!

A few years ago I made this little purse for my niece because her birthday falls close to Valentine's Day.  It's just a plain canvas tote purchased from Michael's Crafts, and I added the cheetah print ribbon to the handles, and sewed on a little felt heart and button.  Inside I included this darling idea from Family Fun - personalized band-aids.  And no Valentine's Day exerience is complete without conversation hearts now, is it?!

I have always wanted to make these crayon hearts for Valentine's Day.  Somehow they always get pushed aside.  But this year my son made them at preschool!  I just think they are so cool, especially when displayed like this on Martha Stewart's website.  She has a great tutorial on how to make them here.

Enjoy!
