n. (rip' el i-fekt') To bring into existence multiple messes in a short period of time. Usually performed by a toddler. Timing is of essence in order to execute properly - as Mom is knee deep in one mess you must quickly make your move somewhere on the other side of house and outdo yourself. Ad nauseum. Be sure to make lots of noise, preferably wild animalistic giggles, so that you cannot hear her screaming for you to stop, or else.

good luck with that one! notice how when you throw a rock into a pond the ripples get bigger as they go---same with messes. no fun.
Ha Ha! So true!
Did you write this about my house?
ROFL.. were you spying on us? It is so true.
I hear you...and I;m only following hurricane Bella...not multiple little tornados. You can handle it, you are SUPER MOM!!!!- Love YA!
We have lots of ripples around here. I think it might turn into a title wave!!
Have a great day.
This week has been rather ripply for me. :) Good luck!
So did you stop and take pictures to show off the "masterpieces"? LOL So sorry. Today is ok for us, but now I just jinxed tomorrow ;)
well, it's good to know it's not just our house that this happens!
Oh my....thanks for a great laugh.
I love your new profile picture -- you're gorgeous!
I think we're feeling the ripple effect over here too. :-)
Thanks Sara! If it weren't for her co-conspirator Drew it wouldn't be so bad.
Thanks MG. Self portrait... :)
haha, you should write for webster's. that's so perfect
You've been spying again.
Haven't you? :-)
oh my goodness, and whatever you do, don't try to clean up one mess while leaving the toddler unsupervised. That will result in an EVEN BIGGER mess and the cycle is ENDLESS. And notice that as the ripple gets bigger and bigger, your patience gets smaller and smaller?? Ah, the adventure.
It's what I call entropy around here. Good luck!
