A moment of pride

Yesterday while I was working out my 4 year old came into the room and asked if he could join me. He peeked under my bed, where I keep all my weights, and struggled to reach 2 small, dusty 5lb. weights. He pulled them out and studied them, comparing them to the 20 lb. weights I was using. And he asks...

"Are these Daddy's weights?"

  1. hilarious! that reminds me of the time that a moving guy was coming to give us an estimate and he saw the big weight machine thingy we have and he said, "looks like your daddy works out a lot." to which soren---who was 2---said, "no, not daddy. mommy exercises."

  4. That is AWESOME!

Mine once asked my husband who was stronger - Dad or Mom. My husband, without a pause, said, "Well, some of my muscless might be able to lift more, but there's things your mom is strong enough to do that I could NEVER do." That made me happy. :)
