ALL women...Yes Nettie, they should be substituted. ALL women after 37 weeks should get a "free whining pass".

We finally did what Jessica suggested and put it on the machine and then had the machine pick up on two rings. It was such a lifesaver. Then before we left to the hospital, we put a message that said I was in labor and we would be unavaliable for the next several days and then changed it again with her birth information. It was so nice to have a machine do the work for us, impersonal, yes. But well worth the rest that I received. (I returned all of the calls when she was about a week old.)Blackeyedsuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15626674680062162360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21512526.post-1151486738250730712006-06-28T04:25:00.000-05:002006-06-28T04:25:00.000-05:00Impressive word usage! That way you would get all the extra whining opportunities you deserve at the end. I was kind of hoping the same thing :)

If you really get tired of fielding those annoying (um, I mean well-meaning) phone calls, you could always change your answering machine message to include "No baby news yet" and then screen your phone calls. Not that I would ever do a thing like that :) I would only swear to not attend church after my Thursday due date passed because I didn't want to deal with all the obvious questions (Wow, you're still "with child?" Yes. Yes, I am.) Luckily, #2 decided to be born in the wee-hours of Sunday morning to save me from "skipping." May Sasha be so accomodating!!sweet mama entropyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15379052850120888522noreply@blogger.com
